GymRally is building public trainer profiles so that finding a coach is as clear as being coached by one. It is not open everywhere yet — and we would rather tell you that than hand you a directory with nothing in it.
No search box on this page on purpose. When your area opens, the results will be real ones.
The rules we are building it under
A directory is only worth anything if you can trust what is in it
These are commitments about how trainer discovery will work, written down before there is any commercial pressure to bend them.
Checked means checked
A verification badge will mean GymRally examined the specific thing it names — identity, a qualification, insurance. Everything else a trainer writes is shown as their own claim, because it is.
Reviews come from real coaching
Only somebody who actually had a coaching relationship through GymRally will be able to review it. No self-reviews, no bought ratings, and no quietly deleting the ones a trainer dislikes.
Availability that is true today
A profile draws on the trainer’s real diary, and a trainer who is full can stop taking enquiries. Being shown a coach with no capacity wastes everybody’s afternoon.
Ranking you can reason about
Results will be ordered by relevance to what you searched for. If a placement is ever promoted, it will say so on the placement rather than in a footnote.
And what we are not doing
Four shortcuts we have ruled out
Each of these would make the marketplace look larger next month and useless within a year.
- No location pages for towns where GymRally has no trainers. A page titled “personal trainers in your town” with nothing behind it is search-engine furniture, not a service.
- No invented profiles, stock coaches or placeholder availability to make a new area look busy.
- No implying a trainer is affiliated with, endorsed by or employed at a gym that has not said so.
- No public profile without the trainer switching it on. A GymRally account does not put anybody on the internet by default.
How it will work
From searching for a coach to being coached
The point of discovery is not the search. It is that the coaching relationship starts on a clear footing and stays in one place afterwards.
- You search
- By area, by what you are training for, and by whether you want to be coached in person, online or both — with price and availability visible before you contact anybody.
- You enquire or book a consultation
- The enquiry goes to the trainer, who decides whether they are the right fit. The first conversation is with a coach, not with a sales team at a platform.
- They set the terms
- Packages, prices, cancellation notice and how they work are the trainer’s to set. GymRally shows them clearly before you commit rather than after.
- You become a Member of their coaching
- Once you start, everything moves into the member app: sessions, session balance, programme, forms and progress. Your agreement is with the coaching business, and GymRally stays the platform underneath it.

Trainer supply comes first, then discovery. Every area GymRally opens will have enough genuine profiles, real availability and verified reviews to be worth somebody’s time — and until it does, that area stays closed rather than getting a page that pretends otherwise.

What people ask about this
Can I search for a trainer on GymRally today?
Not yet. Public trainer discovery is being opened area by area, and a location is only opened when there are enough real trainers with real availability in it for the results to be worth reading.
Why not launch the directory everywhere at once?
Because an empty directory wastes the time of the person searching and damages the trainers listed in it. A page promising personal trainers in a town where GymRally has two is a page that helps nobody.
What will “verified” mean on a trainer profile?
That GymRally checked the specific thing the badge names — identity, a qualification, or insurance — rather than that the trainer typed it in. Anything a trainer states about themselves will be presented as their own claim.
Where will reviews come from?
Only from people who actually had a coaching relationship with that trainer through GymRally. A trainer will not be able to review themselves, buy a rating, or delete a review because they dislike it.
Will trainers be able to pay for a higher position?
Any promoted placement will be labelled as promoted, and it will not be mixed silently into ordinary results. Relevance to what you searched for is what orders the rest.
